The semen referred to in regulation 2 must be accompanied by -

(a) a pedigree and zootechnical certificate conforming to the model in Schedule I, issued by the competent authorities of the third country;

(b) a certificate conforming to the model in Schedule II, issued by the competent authorities of the territory of Malta or the Member State of destination. The certificates mentioned in paragraphs (a) and (b) above must be presented together at the time of importation.
