S.L. 399.48 ст. 109Compensation for loss or damages resulting from failure to comply with these regulations. Cap. 586.

(1) A person who suffers any loss or damage because of any contravention of any regulations under this Part by any other person shall be entitled to take action before the competent court or tribunal, however so described, seeking compensation from that other person for that loss or damage.

(2) The period of limitation provided for in article 30(4) of the

Data Protection Act shall apply to an action under sub-regulation (1).
