For the purposes of the investment income provisions of the Act and of any regulations made thereunder, "collective investment scheme" includes an undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities authorised in accordance with Council Directive 85/611/EEC of 20 December 1985 on the co-ordination of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) as amended up to and in force on the 1 May, st 2004 and as may be amended from time to time.
