Cap. 13 ст. 238Times within which right of recourse against endorsers and drawers resident in Malta is to be exercised.

The right of recourse against endorsers and drawers residing in Malta, in the case of bills, protested for non-payment, drawn in Malta and payable elsewhere, shall be exercised within -

(a) twelve months, if the bill was payable at a place in

Europe, Asia Minor, Syria, Egypt, Tripoli, Tunis,

Algiers or Morocco;

(b) eighteen months, if the bill was payable in any other country:

Provided that such times shall be doubled in time of maritime war.
