Cap. 13 ст. 211Rights and duties of payer for honour.

(1) A party paying a bill of exchange supra protest succeeds to the rights of the holder, and also to his duties with regard to the formalities to be observed.

(2) Moreover, he must give immediate notice of the payment to the party for whose honour he has intervened, under penalty of damages and interest.
