Cap. 13 ст. 189Where accepted part is not taken back by payer.

A party paying a bill on a second, third, or other part, without taking back the part which he has accepted, shall not be discharged with respect to a third party in possession of the accepted part, saving his right of recourse against the party to whom payment was unduly made.
