Cap. 13 Art. 398Assured to give noticeofdisasterto insurer.

(1) The assured is bound to communicate without delay to the insurer any information which he receives concerning the loss of the subject insured, and to furnish the insurers, if required, with copies or extracts of any document conveying such information.

(2) Otherwise, he shall bear the damages and costs.
