Cap. 13 Art. 144Rights of endorsee whereendorsement is made after protest for non- payment.

Where the endorsement is made after the bill has been protested for non-payment, such endorsement shall not vest in the endorsee any rights other than those competent to his endorser against the drawee, if the drawee has accepted the bill, and against such endorsers as may be still liable on the bill.
