S.L. const.2 Art. 39Motions or amendments may be withdrawn.

A member who has made an amendment or a motion may withdraw the same by leave of the House to be decided without amendment or debate. When an amendment has been proposed to a motion, the original motion cannot be withdrawn until the amendment has been first disposed of.
