S.L. 646.8 Art. 19Loading bays and ramps.

The employer shall take all necessary measures to ensure that:

(a) loading bays and ramps are suitable for the dimensions of the loads to be transported;

(b) loading bays shall in general have at least one exit point, and one at each end if reasonabIy practicable to do so by virtue of the length of the loading bay;

(c) all necessary steps are taken, so far as reasonably practicable, to prevent workers from falling off the loading ramp.
