S.L. 626.1 Art. 5Legal personality.  Cap. 492. Cap. 16. Cap. 386.

Any person registered with the Authority and enrolled with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations in accordance with the Voluntary Organisations Act and regulations made thereunder shall be endowed with legal personality and may perform any judicial act:

Provided that the above shall not apply to applicants registered or which may be registered as a legal person in accordance with:

(a) the Second Schedule to the Civil Code; or

(b) the Companies Act.
