(1) Where a total useful floor area over 500m2 of a building for which an EPC has been issued in accordance with regulation 13(1)(b) is occupied by public authorities and frequently visited by the public, the EPC shall be displayed in a prominent place clearly visible to the public. In such a case the threshold shall be lowered to 250m2 by 9 July, 2015.

(2) Where a total useful floor area over 250m of a building, for which an EPC has been issued in accordance with regulation 13(1)(b), is frequently visited by the public, the EPC shall also be displayed in a prominent place clearly visible to the public.

(3) Public authorities are encouraged to take into account the leading role which they should exercise in the field of EPB, inter by implementing the recommendations included in the EPC alia, issued for buildings occupied by them within its validity period.
