S.L. 605.5 Art. 8Chief Executive Officer.

(1) The Council shall, with the approval of the Minister, appoint a Chief Executive Officer who shall be chosen after an open call for applications and who shall be the head of the ELT Council officers, and who shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Council, provide appropriate support for its meetings and implement its decisions.

(2) The Chief Executive Officer shall report to the Chairperson and to the Council and shall attend the meetings of the Council whenever invited to do so but shall not have the right to vote.
