S.L. 601.12 Art. 54Unlawful modifications.

Any modification carried out against the express refusal of the Permanent Secretary or the Director, as the case may be, shall be deemed to be founded on an unlawful consideration and the other parties in the contract shall have no right for compensation with respect to that modification unless they show that they were unaware of the refusal of the Permanent Secretary or the Director.
