S.L. 601.1 Art. 69Anticipated excesses.

(1) It shall be the duty of all accounting officers to watch the progress of expenditure during the course of a financial year and to report at once, through the Minister responsible for their department, to the Minister whenever it appears to them that the voted provision will prove insufficient to meet the essential requirements for approved services up to the end of the financial year.

(2) The report shall contain full reasons for the anticipated excess as well as the valid circumstances which render necessary any additional provision.
