S.L. 595.13 Art. 9Appointment of members of the Board.

A person shall not be qualified to be appointed or continue to hold office as a member of the Board, if he:

(a) is a Minister, a Parliamentary Secretary, a Member of the House of Representatives, or of the European Parliament or a Local Council, a public officer or an employee of a government entity or an agency; or

(b) has been convicted of any crime punishable by imprisonment for any term; or

(c) is disqualified to be elected as a member of the House of Representatives for any of the reasons stated in article 54(1)(a), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) or (h) of the Constitution.
