S.L. 591.1 Art. 17No exemption from other laws.

Unless expressly stated in the Act or any European Union legislation or any other law, nothing in these regulations shall be considered as exempting any innovative technology arrangements or any innovative technology service provider from the provisions of any other law, including other regulatory laws requiring authorisations or approvals:

Provided that, in the event that a requirement under these regulations is similar in scope to that under another law and has been satisfactorily satisfied by an applicant, the Authority may, if necessary with the written consent of the applicant, co-ordinate with the other national competent authorities and rely on the submissions and processes being carried out by the other authorities in carrying out its duties under these regulations.
