S.L. 585.1 Art. 106Radiation Protection Experts.

(1) Radiation protection experts need to be recognized by the Commission and will need to meet the following generic criteria:

(a) have a degree in radiation protection, physics, engineering, mathematics, radiography or a suitable combination of other qualifications and experience; and

(b) sufficient work experience directly concerned with radiation protection practice; and

(c) undertake continued professional development.

(2) The Commission shall issue detailed requirements for different applications based on the generic criteria given in the above.

(3) Radiation protection experts shall need re-certification by the Commission.
