For the purposes of, and in terms of, article 6(1)(c) of the

Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act, the degree of

Master of Notarial Studies (M. Not. Stud.) approved by the Senate of the University of Malta as required by article 81(2) of the

Education Act and offered by the Faculty of Laws of the University of Malta, as published in the Gazette by the Bye-Laws for the

Degree of Master of Advocacy - M.Adv. - and for the Degree of Master of Notarial Studies - M.Not.St. - under the auspices of the Faculty of Laws, is hereby prescribed as the other qualification at master’s level in terms of article 6(1)(c) which entitles a holder thereof to sit for the examination to obtain a warrant to practice as a notary public.
