S.L. 549.79 Art. 7Monitoring of emissions.

(1) The competent authority shall ensure that channels to which abatement equipment is connected, and which at the final point of discharge emit more than an average of 10 kg/h of total organic carbon, are monitored continuously for compliance.

(2) In the other cases, the competent authority shall ensure that either continuous or periodic measurements are carried out: Provided that for periodic measurements at least three readings shall be obtained during each measurement exercise: Provided further that measurements are not required in the case where end-of-pipe abatement equipment is not needed to comply with these regulations.
