(1) The title of these regulations is the Waste Management

(Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Polychlorinated Terphenyls) Regulations.

(2) These regulations provide additional measures, procedures and guidance to those in the Waste Regulations, on the controlled disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Polychlorinated Terphenyls, hereafter collectively referred to as PCBs, the decontamination or disposal of equipment containing PCBs and, or the disposal of used PCBs in order to eliminate them completely.
