S.L. 549.166 Art. 8Procedure for installation of meters. S.L. 423.20

(1) The Authority shall determine the prioritisation and the order by which groundwater sources are to be metered.

(2) The prioritisation for the installation of the meters of abstraction sources may be based on:

(a) hydrogeological characteristics of groundwater bodies and regional considerations of locations of groundwater sources;

(b) declared use of abstraction;

(c) likely water demand obtained from a groundwater source;

(d) qualitative and quantitative status of the groundwater body and any measures pursuant to the requirements of the Water Policy Framework Regulations.
