S.L. 546.4 Art. 1Citation, scope and commencement.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Address

Register and related Location (Geospatial) Registers Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to establish a set of registers relating to the keeping and updating of an address of an existing or planned officially identified structure in Malta, as may be required in order to ensure consistent and coherent use of such data. These regulations further provide that such registers are to be used either in conjunction with each other or as individual registers to provide official records pertinent to that specific type of geospatial location.

(3) These regulations shall come into force on such date or dates as the Minister may, by notice in the Gazette establish, and different dates may be so established for different provisions and, or different purposes of these regulations.
