S.L. 546.2 Art. 3Establishment of Business Register and Business Registrar.      Cap. 386.

(1) There shall be established a Business Register which shall contain therein the business profile of every undertaking operating in and from Malta; the details to be stored and maintained for every business profile shall be in accordance with the list contained in the Schedule 1.

(2) There shall be appointed, by the Minister responsible for the registration of commercial partnerships, a Registrar for Business, hereinafter referred to as "the Registrar", whose responsibility shall be the drawing up, and regular updating, of the Business Register in accordance with the provisions of these regulations.

(3) The functions and duties of the Registrar shall be performed by the Registrar of Companies and Other Commercial

Partnerships appointed under the provisions of article 400 of the

Companies Act:

Provided that the Registrar may, with the approval of the Minister, delegate any or all of his administrative functions to an authorised entity.
