(1) An operator of publicly accessible charging infrastructure shall apply for an electricity connection service as established in the Electricity Supply Regulations and shall be subject to the applicable charges and consumption tariffs established therein.

(2) The electrical wiring installation used to supply electricity to publicly accessible charging infrastructure shall comply with the Electrical Installations Regulations and shall be carried out and certified by an authorised provider holding the appropriate authorisation in terms of the aforementioned regulations.
