(1) The Regulator shall revoke a guarantee of origin where:

(a) it decides that the guarantee of origin is inaccurate;

(b) it is satisfied that the information provided under regulation 4 is incorrect in a material particular; and, or

(c) it is otherwise satisfied that the guarantee of origin should not have been issued, is inaccurate, or was issued to the wrong person.

(2) Where the Regulator revokes a guarantee of origin, it shall as soon as it is reasonably practicable, inform the holder of the existing guarantee of origin in writing of such revocation.

(3) A guarantee of origin which has been revoked by the Regulator under paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) shall be treated as if it has never been issued and for the purpose of paragraphs (b) and (c) of sub-regulation (1), it shall cease to have effect from the date when the information referred to in sub-regulation (2) is given by the Regulator.
