An authorised provider issued with an authorisation by the

Regulator to wholesale or store and bottle LPG shall hold, at any time, a minimum storage capacity of LPG, equivalent to a one-day amount of supplies in already-filled cylinders, to be held as operational stock, which one day amount of supplies shall be calculated in accordance with the authorised provider’s total sales in the previous calendar year. In calculating the minimum guaranteed stock of LPG to be held in already filled cylinders, the Regulator shall take into account any seasonality factor which may be present: Provided that the amount held in already-filled cylinders may be set-off against the amount required to be held in terms of regulation 4.
