On receiving the communication of information referred to in regulation 18 from the European regulatory authority of its home

Member State, in terms of the Occupational Pensions Directive, or if no such communication is received from such European regulatory authority, on expiry of the period of six (6) weeks provided for in regulation 18, the European IORP may start to carry out a cross-border activity in Malta in accordance with Malta’s requirements of social and labour law relevant to the field of occupational pension schemes and with the information requirements referred to in regulation 18.
