(1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires: "the Act" means the Arms Act;

"the Board" means the Weapons Board constituted and appointed in accordance with article 49 of the Act; "the Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Police;

"the Ordinance" means the Arms Ordinance repealed by the Act.

(2) Terms, words and phrases used in these regulations and which are also used in the Act shall have the same meaning as is assigned to them by article 2 of the Act.
