S.L. 465.46 Art. 2Extension of moratorium on credit facilities for economically vulnerable persons. S.L. 465.40.

(1) In furtherance to sub-regulations (2) and (3) of regulation 5 of the Moratorium on Credit Facilities in Exceptional

Circumstances Regulations, the Minister responsible for public health, after consultation with the Minister for Finance and Financial

Services, is hereby extending -

(a) the six-month (6) moratorium for a further period of six (6) months; and th

(b) the period for applications from 30 June, 2020, th to 30 September, 2020:

Provided that the extension referred to in paragraph (a) above shall require submission of an application for extension, th with the period for applications ending on 30 September 2020, and shall be applicable only to borrowers who have been st granted a moratorium on credit facilities between 1 March, th 2020 and 30 June, 2020.

(2) The six-month (6) extension referred to in paragraph (a) above shall apply from the day following that on which the first six-month (6) period would have expired.
