S.L. 465.10 Art. 7Provision of services by the Superintendent.

For the purpose of these regulations, the Superintendent may, and if so required by the Minister, shall:

(a) provide to the WHO IHR Contact Point, the National IHR Focal point, with the current details and the authorities responsible within his respective jurisdiction for the implementation of these regulations;

(b) ensure that no ship sanitation certificate is issued without prior inspection by an authorised officer;

(c) ensure that any control measures required under these regulations are carried out by or under the supervision of an authorised officer.
