S.L. 464.12 Art. 20Amendment to be put to a vote.

(1) The amendment shall be put to a vote and if it is refused, a second amendment may be moved, and shall be disposed of in the same way as the first amendment; and so on for other amendments, until no further amendment is proposed.

(2) For an amendment to be approved it requires the support of a simple majority provided that abstained votes shall not be considered.

(3) In any case except that described in subregulation (2), the amendment shall be refused.

(4) In the case of an amendment being refused the second successive amendment shall be moved and disposed of in the same manner.
