In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Act" means the Malta Enterprise Act;

"Artisan" means a duly registered undertaking including self-employed persons carrying out an economic activity based on the production of a craft or self-employed person that has previously carried out an economic activity based on the production of a craft;

"the Corporation" means Malta Enterprise established under the Act;

"craft" means a skill with hands in creating unique items which may have a functional or decorative use;

"the Guidelines" means such guidelines as may be published by the Corporation from time to time in terms of the Act;

"single undertaking" shall have the meaning attributed to it by the Guidelines;

"Start-up" means an unlisted Small Undertaking that has been established for less than three (3) years and which has not yet distributed profits and has not been established through a merger. Part II Skills Transfer
