Types of Entities of High Criticality and Competent Authorities (in accordance with article 4)

(i) Postal service providers as Malta Communications defined in Article 2, point (1a), of Authority (MCA). Directive 97/67/EC, including providers of courier services.

(i) Undertakings carrying out waste CIP Department as the national management as defined in Article 3, supervisory authority. point (9), of Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, excluding undertakings for whom waste management is not their principal economic activity.

(i) Undertakings carrying out the CIP Department as the national manufacture of substances and the supervisory authority. distribution of substances or mixtures, as referred to in Article 3, points (9) and (14), of Regulation

(EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council and undertakings carrying out the production of articles, as defined in Article 3, point (3), of said Regulation, from substances or mixtures.

(i) Food businesses as defined in CIP Department as the national Article 3, point (2), of Regulation supervisory authority.

(EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council which are engaged in wholesale distribution and industrial production and processing.
