Prior to a commencement of a peer review on Malta, a self-assessment of the reviewed aspects may be carried out by CIP

Department in cooperation with the national CSIRT, designated competent entities and other entities and stakeholders where necessary and as appropriate. The CIP Department shall provide such self-assessment to the designated cybersecurity experts in accordance with

Article 19 of the Directive.
