The rates as established by this tariff are binding only whenever there has been no previous agreement between practitioner and patient. In those cases in which minimum and maximum rates are established, if the amount asked by the practitioner be challenged, the fee shall be fixed by the Medical Council who will take in consideration all the circumstances of the case. The fees for operations and other services not included in this tariff shall be assessed by the Medical Council according to circumstances, provided there has been no previous agreement. The Medical Council may also assess fees due for medico-legal reports.
