S.L. 452.130 Art. 16Director’s rights.

The Director shall have at any time the right to examine the books, including any records of any licensed employment agency or employment business or of any other employment agency or employment business carrying out its activities in Malta in accordance with the Act and the regulations made thereunder, or to request any information which in the opinion of the Director is reasonably required for ensuring that the conditions of any licence issued by the Director or the provisions of these regulations are being complied with, or for protecting the interests of applicants for employment. Failure to comply with any demand made by the Director in accordance with this regulation shall constitute an offence in terms of these regulations:

Provided that the Director shall also have at any time the right to examine the books, including any records, of any natural or legal person operating as an employment agency or employment business without a licence.
