(1) The title of these regulations is the Definition of Kunserva Regulations.

(2) Products which do not conform with the provisions of these regulations, but which conform with the provisions of the Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs Regulations and which were placed on the Maltese market or had labels affixed to them prior to the 31st August, 2013, may still be sold until existing stocks last.

(3) For the purposes of these regulations "hermetically sealed containers" includes any container of any shape and material which prohibits any contact between tomatoes or tomato derivative and the air, and the said containers should be those effectively used for final consumption.
