S.L. 445.5 Art. 7Group admission tickets.

(1) Notwithstanding any other provision in these regulations, Heritage Malta may issue to any licensed tour operator organising a group of five persons or over and led by a licensed guide, group admission tickets for admission at a discounted rate to all museums, sites and collections in Malta and Gozo except the }al Saflieni Hypogeum, Paola.

(2) Such group discounted admission tickets, as are referred to in subregulation (1), shall -

(a) be purchased prior to the visit, from the Heritage Malta Head Office;

(b) entitle the licensed tour operator for a rate discounted by thirty per cent of the adult ticket price;

(c) be made available to each member of the group who will be required to hand over the counterfoil to the officer in charge at the museum, site or collection, and retain the ticket while on site, as provided in regulation 12.

(3) (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of these regulations, Heritage Malta may issue group admission tickets to any licensed tour operator, organising a group of five persons or over and led by a licensed guide, for admission at a discounted rate to all museums, sites and collections in Malta and Gozo except the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum.

(b) Such group discounted admission tickets as mentioned in paragraph (a) shall:

(i) be purchased prior to the visit as instructed from time to time by Heritage Malta;

(ii) entitle the licensed tour operator for a rate discounted by 30% of the adult ticket price relative to single site tickets only;

(iii) be made available to the tourist guide who will be required to hand over the necessary electronic ticket to the officer in charge at the museum, site or collection while retaining the electronic ticket on site as provided in regulation 12.
