S.L. 445.5 Art. 12

(1) Any person entering any of the museums, sites and collections is to hand over the counterfoil of the ticket to the officer in charge of the museum, site or collection, and to retain the ticket for the duration of the visit.

(2) Without prejudice to subregulation (3), failure to hand over the counterfoil, for whatever reason, entails the payment of the full fee due for a visit to that site by that person and an administrative penalty equivalent to five times the value of the ticket may also be charged

(3) If this failure takes place with regard to a group admission ticket as provided in regulation 7, payment of the fee and the administrative penalty should be due by the licensed tour operator or by the leader of the group on site, at the discretion of Heritage Malta.
