S.L. 439.26 Art. 10Food and water.

(1) Facilities for the preparation and storage of food shall be provided, in a separate space from the animal enclosures. Animal food shall be stored in labelled closed containers of impervious material.

(2) All animals shall receive adequate amounts of food appropriate to individual needs. Clean water shall be available at all times and changed daily.

(3) Food shall not be kept for excessive periods in the enclosure in order to prevent noxious odours, vermin and insects.
