(1) The Title of these rules is the Bovine Animals

(Identification and Registration) and Beef Labelling Rules.

(2) The scope of these rules is to implement the provisions found under European Union Parliament and Council Regulation

(EC) No 1760/2000 of the 17th July, 2000 laying down a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products.
