S.L. 437.50 Art. 24Measures in relation to meat products produced in the protection zone.

(1) The competent authority shall ensure that the placing on the market of meat products produced from meat derived from animals of susceptible species originating in the protection zone shall be prohibited.

(2) By way of derogation, the prohibition in sub-rule (1) shall not apply to meat products which have either undergone one of the treatments as set out in point 1 in Part A of Schedule VII or which have been produced from meats referred to in rule 23(4).
