S.L. 437.21 Art. 1Title and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Pedigree and Zootechnical Requirements for the Importation of Semen of Certain Animals Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to implement the provisions found under European Commission Decision 96/509/EC laying down pedigree and zootechnical requirements for the importation of semen of certain animals. This Decision finds a legal basis under European Union Council Directive 94/28/EC, article 5, second and third indent.
