(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:

"Act" means the Veterinary Services Act;

"Department" shall have the same meaning as assigned to in the Act;

"Regulation (EU) 2015/262" means the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262 of 17 February 2015 laying down rules pursuant to Council Directives 90/427/EEC and 2009/156/EC as regards the methods for the identification of equidae (Equine Passport Regulation), as in force from time to time.

(2) Unless the context otherwise requires, words and phrases used in these rules which are not defined herein, shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in Regulation (EU) 2015/262 and in the Act.
