S.L. 437.106 Art. 3Granting or renewal of licence.

(1) No person may operate, manage, set up or operate a veterinary establishment without a licence. This licence is valid for one year.

(2) A licence for the opening or carrying on of a veterinary establishment under article 42(e) of the Act may only be granted or renewed provided such establishment complies with the provisions of these regulations and of any other law which establishes the payment of fees for the respective practice.

(3) Prior to the granting or renewal of a licence an inspection may be carried out by the Director: Provided that the Director may also conduct other inspections at any other time: Provided further that if the Director deems it fit, a member of the Veterinary Surgeons’ Council may be asked to accompany the Director on such inspections.
