Without prejudice to the provisions of the Plant Quarantine

Act, the Plant Health Department may authorise derogations from the measures referred to in regulations 8 and 10 in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Plant Quarantine (Harmful

Organisms) Regulations, for trial or scientific purposes, and for work on varietal selections.
