S.L. 433.10 Art. 6General certification procedure.

(1) Upon receipt of a notice in accordance with the provisions of regulation 5, the Director shall ascertain that the conditions for certification have been met and the Director shall issue such a certificate only if the propagation material meets such conditions or standards.

(2) Prior to certifying any propagation material in accordance with subregulation (1), the Director or his authorised representative shall inspect, collect and test such sample or samples as may be required in order to establish that any provisions of these regulations are satisfied.

(3) Any certificate issued in accordance with this regulation shall only be valid for the propagation material for which the inspection, sampling and testing were carried out in accordance with subregulation (2).
