S.L. 431.3 Art. 3Interpretation.     Cap. 431.

(1) For the purposes of these regulations unless the context otherwise requires:

"the Act" means the Malta Council for Economic and Social

Development Act;

"Board" means the National Productivity Board established in accordance with regulation 4;

"Council" means the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development established by virtue of article 3 of the Act;

"Council Recommendation" means the Council Recommendation of 20 September 2016 on the establishment of National Productivity Boards of the Council of the European Union as in force from time to time (2016/C 349/01);

"Minister" means the Minister responsible for social dialogue.

(2) Save as otherwise provided in these regulations, the definitions provided for in the Act shall apply to these regulations.
