(1) The title of these regulations is the Energy Labelling of Electric Household Refrigerators, Freezers and their combinations (Implementing Measures) Regulations.

(2) These regulations shall be interpreted in terms of the Indication by Labelling and Standard Product Information of the Consumption of Energy and other Resources by Energy Related Products Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the Energy Labelling Regulations".

(3) These regulations implement the requirements of Commission Directive 94/2/EC of 21 January 1994 implementing Council Directive 92/75/EEC with regard to energy labelling of household electric refrigerators, freezers and their combinations.

(4) These regulations constitute an implementing measure within the meaning of the Energy Labelling Regulations with regard to the energy labeling of household electric refrigerators, freezers and their combination.
